The anonymous submissions magazine

Anon is anonymous in its review process. Please bear this in mind if you wish to contact the editors, as any attempt to connect a name with a poem will disqualify you from consideration.

We are in the process of developing a wholly electronic submissions system. This is not quite ready yet, but when it is we think you will really like it.

As a temporary measure would all submissions please be emailed to Anna Bacciarelli, our editorial assistant, at the special Anon Submissions email address.

Anna is not involved in the selection or review of poems. Any attempt to contact the editors about a poem which mentions the title will result in your poem being ineligible for inclusion in the magazine.

Please follow this procedure:

1. Attach .pdf, .txt or .doc files with no more than THREE poems. Each poem should occupy its own page(s) and have a title. Your name and address should NOT appear in this file. If it does, we cannot process your submission.

2. In the body text of your email supply your name, the titles of your poems, a contact phone number and your email address (even if it is the same one you are using to submit the poems). Do not include your poems in the body of the email.

3. We only accept unpublished poems that have not been multiple submitted to other magazines or to competitions.

to repeat – your name and details should NOT appear on the file which contains your poems

4. Do not include any kind of covering letter, query, or list of publication credits and prizes with your submission.

5. Our response time is up to three months. Please do not contact us before that period has elapsed. For queries related to submissions, mail the anonsubmissions @ gmail . com email address only.

6. Due to the enormous extra workload which paper submissions cause, we strongly advise you to submit electronically. If this is going to be a huge problem, please contact the anonsubmissions email address for help with your submission

7. Here's the Anon Submissions email address again, in case you missed it above.

8. We look forward to receiving your submission.
